As you may have read earlier today, Superintendent Jonathan Raymond indicated his last day in our district will be at the end of this school year. We would like to acknowledge and thank Mr. Raymond for his hard work and the significant contributions that he and his outstanding administrative team have made over the last 18 months. His abbreviated tenure was not anticipated, but we respect Mr. Raymond's decision and understand his need to be closer to his family. Identifying our next Superintendent is the Board of Education's top priority and we are confident we will identify a candidate of the highest quality to succeed Mr. Raymond. The Board met to consider our options at this time and to discuss next steps. Please be assured that we are all committed to an inclusive, collaborative and open search. The Board believes we have a number of high quality candidates working for the District who have the skills and qualifications needed to assume this important role. We will update the community with the details regarding this process, including our anticipated timeline at our next Board Meeting, Tuesday, January 24th.
