Congratulations to two Columbus Elementary School teachers recognized by the Board of Education Tuesday for achieving tenure. Principal Michael Galland called second-grade teacher Kelly Kalinowski and first-grade teacher Rana Rabadi “outstanding colleagues” who bring laughter, warmth, intelligence, and devotion to their work every day. “Their classrooms feel like laboratories and living rooms all at once,” he said, referring to their ability to provide students with a classroom environment that is engaging, stimulating, warm, and welcoming.
