The Office of Research, Assessment and Accountability provides data and assessment to inform policy and support continuous school improvement. Inclusive of accountability reporting and testing and in partnership with the NYSED Office of Accountability, we work to close achievement gaps by identifying and supporting schools in ensuring the replication of best practices. The school district works to implement New York State's Accountability System under the approved Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESSA) Flexibility Waiver and the approved New York State Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan.
